Junior Auxiliary's Christmas Blessing





I volunteered at the Junior Auxiliary of Cabot Christmas Blessing. This program provides Christmas gifts to needy children in Cabot.

Miss and Teen Arkansas USA Pageant




I attended the Miss and Teen Arkansas USA Pageant in Bentonville and here I am with Alexis Gullick (former Miss Arkansas International) and 2007 Miss Teen Arkansas USA, Tiffany Greenstreet.

CARTI Fashion Show and Luncheon




We all modeled a casual outfit and then a dressy outfit and a coat. It was GREAT fun!

CARTI Festival of Trees


With Arkansas International Pageant Director, Bernee Thurow and my sister queens (Chelsey Cavin, Miss Arkansas International and Sarah Hunt, Mrs. Arkansas International) at the Central Arkansas Radiation Therapy Institute's Festival of Trees. All four of us attended the luncheon and got to model in the Dillard's Fashion Show!

Trick or Treat for UNICEF


Here I am with Matt Weeks as we head off to be pirates and Trick or Treat for UNICEF. The money this year goes to orphans of HIV/AIDS in Africa.

Cabot Fest



I worked at Cabot Fest with the Junior Auxiliary and did lots of facepainting. I also was a feature dancer for the Lonoke County Junior Cotillion and demonstrated the waltz, foxtrot, cha cha, and swing dances.

Random Acts of Kindness



I was honored to be chosen by the Cabot City Council to receive the Random Acts of Kindness Award for October. I was recognized in Resolution No. 42 of 2007 for my community service and Random Acts of Kindness this year. The Resolution is signed by Mayor Eddie Joe Williams, City Clerk Marva Verkler, and City Attorney Jim Taylor.

Dance Solo Winner


Caroline Fuller won the Dance Solo Division at the Arkansas State Fair Youth Talent Contest. Way to go Caroline!!

State Fair Queen Contest

Congratulations to State Fair Queen Jessica Plummer. Jessica is from Lonoke County, my home county, so I was especially excited with her win.

State Fair Ice Cream Contest


Chelsey and I got to help with the Farm Bureau Family Ice Cream Making Contest. The ice cream was FABULOUS!! The winning ice cream contained chocolate and peanut butter! Definitely a winning combination in my book.

Race for the Cure


Here I am with Brett Cummings from Channel 4 after I finished the Race for the Cure. This was an early morning, but it was for a great cause. Thank you to the Smilin' Sisters from Dr. C. Lee Wyant, DDS office for including the International Queens on the team!

State Fair Livestock Auction



I interviewed the winners of Grand Champion Livestock at the State Fair Junior Livestock Auction. These teens work hard to get their animals ready for the fair and are rewarded with great scholarships.

First Lady Pie Contest at State Fair


Ginger Beebe chose peanut butter as the First Lady Pie Flavor this year. Chelsey, Sarah, and I joined First Lady Beebe for the pie contest and presentation of awards at the 2007 Arkansas State Fair.

Cabot High School Homecoming Parade


I rode with Dave and Jackie Stanfill in the Cabot High School Homecoming Parade in October. Go Panthers !!!

Buckle Buddies Car Seat Safety Check with Junior Auxiliary of Cabot




I helped at Buckle Buddies by holding children as the parents were trained on the correct way to install a car seat. We checked 40 seats and 20 were incorrectly installed. By teaching parents how to correctly install car seats, childrens' lives are saved.

World Fest



I worked with Heifer Project International at World Fest after leaving Kids' Fest. A day full of festivals!!!! World Fest focused on world issues and had international dancers, food, displays, and lots of animals and activities for the kids.

Kids' Fair




I had a great time at Kids' Fair at the Arkansas State Fair Grounds. There were tons of kids there and we had lots of fun!

Proud Panther



Erika McCaghren and I won the Proud Panther Award at Cabot High School. At each home game, Metropolitan National Bank honors one academic/atheletic award and one academic/community service award. I won the academic/community service award for my work with Heifer Project International and for having a grade point of 4.13.

Heifer Project International Program at Searcy



The K-6 children at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Searcy raised over $500 to buy a cow through Heifer Project International for a needy family in Africa. I spoke about Heifer Project during the Sunday School time and accepted the check on behalf of Heifer Project International.

I attended the Designer Fashion Show at Heifer Project International Headquarters in Little Rock. I even got this great shirt from the designer! A portion of the sale of these clothes goes to HPI projects.

I volunteered at AETN in Conway during their semi-annual fund drive. With me are Sarah Hunt, Mrs. Arkansas International and Chelsey Cavin, Miss Arkansas International.

Cleburne County Pageants



It has been a whirlwind of activity since the International Pageant! I served as a judge at the Cleburne County Pageants which are sponsored by the Business and Professional Women's Club (BPW) in Heber Springs as part of Old Soldier's Day Festivities. Formal Ball




With Miss Teen Oregon and Miss Teen Virginia at the Formal Ball. These girls are really fantastic. It has really been a great honor be included in this group of girls. All of them could have been Miss Teen International because they are all smart, beautiful, and fun to be around.

We were all excited to represent Arkansas with me in the Top 10 and Chelsey as 4th runner up. Thanks go to Ms. Bernee' for her tireless efforts to make us look and feel our best.

Free Time in Chicago



Friday was a free day for the teen contestants. This was a welcome rest because we were in rehersal and show on Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. That was a long day! Here I am at Lake Michigan and with my brother, Robby, at Wrigley Field. Robby and my dad had time yesterday to watch the Sox win at Cellular Field.

Interview


I had my interview with the judges today. Interview counts as 40% of the total score. I was excited to tell the judges about my platform, Heifer Project International, and how I would promote that platform as Miss Teen International.

Platform Issue


Chelsey and I have a display in the lobby about our platforms. I have volunteered with Heifer Project International since I was in the fifth grade. Chelsey's platform is volunteerism and the Don't Almost Give campaign.

Navy Pier


We signed autographs and enjoyed the sights at Navy Pier. The Chicago skyline was beautiful at night. All the contestants are wonderful people and I'm having a great time!
